Auxilium Group of Institutions are part of the global educational mission of the Salesian Sisters of Don Bosco, officially known as the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA). The Congregation was founded in 1872 in Mornese, Italy, by St.John Bosco and St. Mary Domenica Mazzarello with the mission of educating and empowering young people.

From humble beginnings, the congregation grew rapidly and today the Salesian Sisters form one of the largest women’s religious congregations in the Catholic Church. The FMA are present in over 90 countries, managing more than 1,400 educational institutions and social centres worldwide, including schools, colleges, technical institutes, hostels, youth centres and social development programmes.

In Indi, the Salesian Sisters began their mission in 1922 and today they run over 200 institutions across the country. Auxilium Group of Institutions in India are known for providing holistic education that combines academic excellence, value-based formation, leadership development and service to society.
